Multiple high-end devices have been domestically produced and deployed on a large scale, effectively overcoming technical bottlenecks in traditional communication and security fields. These devices are adaptable to diverse scenarios such as the digital economy, public safety, and low-altitude air defense, propelling my country's laser equipment industry into emerging fields, further improving the industry's diversified development pattern, and continuously enhancing its core competitiveness.

Laser communication equipment has achieved leapfrog development, constructing a new high-speed, secure communication system. With the rapid development of the digital economy, the demand for high-speed, secure, and interference-resistant communication is increasingly urgent. Laser communication equipment, with its core advantages such as high transmission rate, strong anti-interference capability, good confidentiality, and no need for spectrum licensing, has become an important development direction in the communication field. Domestic research teams have successfully developed a high-power, high-stability laser communication terminal, breaking through the core technologies of long-distance beam acquisition, tracking, and alignment, achieving 100Gbps high-speed laser communication with a communication distance exceeding 500 kilometers and a bit error rate of less than 10⁻¹². It is adaptable to high-end scenarios such as space-to-ground communication and integrated air-to-ground communication, filling the technological gap in domestic long-distance high-speed laser communication equipment. Meanwhile, breakthroughs have been achieved in miniaturized laser communication equipment, reducing its size by more than 70% and power consumption by 50% compared to traditional devices. This allows for widespread application in drones, vehicle-mounted communications, and emergency communications, maintaining stable communication even in extreme environments, providing strong support for emergency rescue and communication in remote areas. Currently, laser communication equipment has been implemented in several key projects, gradually forming a "space-ground integrated, interconnected" laser communication network, driving the communications industry towards higher quality and greater security.
Laser security equipment is undergoing iterative upgrades, empowering public safety and security to improve efficiency and effectiveness. With its advantages of long detection range, fast response speed, low false alarm rate, and immunity to environmental interference, laser security equipment is gradually replacing traditional security equipment and is widely used in border control, airports and ports, large venues, and key industrial parks. On the technical front, laser beam alarm equipment has been upgraded, achieving a detection range of up to 10 kilometers and a response time of less than 1 millisecond. It can accurately identify illegal intrusions and breaches, and is resistant to strong light, heavy rain, and smog, making it suitable for various complex environments. Laser night vision equipment has overcome the bottleneck of low-light imaging technology, achieving clear imaging over 1000 meters even in extremely dark environments without moonlight or starlight, clearly identifying target details and providing core support for nighttime security monitoring. Furthermore, laser security equipment is deeply integrated with AI, big data, and IoT technologies, achieving intelligent upgrades. It can automatically identify abnormal behavior, accurately locate alarms, and simultaneously link with video surveillance and emergency response systems, forming an integrated "detection-alarm-response" security system, significantly improving the intelligence and efficiency of public safety prevention and control.
The industry is experiencing strong growth, with domestic substitution continuing to deepen. Benefiting from the demand driven by the digital economy and public safety sectors, my country's laser communication and security equipment market is growing rapidly. It is estimated that the combined market size of these two sectors will exceed 9 billion yuan in 2026, with a compound annual growth rate of over 18%. The localization process continues to accelerate, with the localization rate of core components steadily increasing. Key components such as core chips for laser communication and laser security detectors have achieved independent control, breaking the technological monopoly of foreign companies. Domestically produced equipment, leveraging its cost-effectiveness, has gradually increased its market share, currently accounting for over 65% of the domestic market. Some high-end products have been exported to multiple countries and regions worldwide.
Industry experts state that laser communication and security equipment, as core supporting equipment in the digital economy and public safety sectors, have significant strategic importance for technological breakthroughs and industrialization. In the future, the industry will continue to focus on tackling core technologies, promoting the deep integration of laser equipment with digital and security technologies, further optimizing equipment performance, expanding application scenarios, accelerating the localization of high-end products, and driving my country's laser communication and security equipment industry to a higher level, thus building a solid technological barrier for digital economic development and public safety prevention and control.
